    You knew I would not let this thread pass without commenting, didn't you. lol.
    I have to. You see, my heart is touched by two very special individuals who remind me a lot of my first wife and I when we were that age. I was 21 when I joined a penpal club. She was 18. We never had any intention of falling in love and getting married. She was a stamp collector and wanted stamps from many different countries (she still has some of those penpals in Germany, Japan, and a few other places). I saw one too many Bruce Lee movies as a kid and fell in love with oriental culture. I wanted to learn about it from the people who lived there. I had penpals in just about every asian country.
    But this thread is not about my story. It is about yours. I just wanted to tell you why you two have touched my heart. Any help you need. Anytime either of you need a friend. Anytime I might be able to help with a problem. Anytime you want to know if what you are going through has happened to me. I will be there for you.
    You both have a long journey ahead of you. It will be difficult at times. It will be heaven at times. I firmly believe, if you work together, you can do absolutely anything you want to. Together.
    May God bless the two of you in your journey together.

i feel so special that we've remained in touch, even though i've fallen away from the board somewhat.  i know that EmeraldIsle THINK's that he knows how lucky he is.  The truth is he will only be able to find out as time goes by, and to a small degree, i envy him.

   Hey taters, what can i say? we've known for each other since we were kids. we shared each other's secrets, and we have had our share of joys and laughters also. u are more than a cousin to me and u know that. i know how at times u cried coz of depression and sometimes u being upset. but u are a strong woman and i admire u for that. i have witnessed how u want to make ur relationship with conor to last, and i think u both can make it..if u goes hand in hand. i wish u guys all the best.

Wow , what a moving story from the most incredible girl i have ever met. I fell in love with Tata right away as a daughter i wish i would have had. Nobody knows what this young girl has been thru and she just gave us a small picture of it. Who could ever thought that a young lady 12,000 miles away could effect me so much. Tata ,your words and wisdom show the person that you are and how big your heart is. I hope you and Conor work out and both of you are so happy. It's not how life treats you but how you handle it that makes you who you are and you are one very special person. i truly look forward with what the next chapters in your life are and i thank you so much for letting me be a part of your life. I hope someday we can meet in person so i can show you how i feel about you.

Thanks  for all the well wishes from everyone here. It really does mean a lot.

When i very first came into this forum it was in its infancy day. This was July/August 2006. The only lady that really stood out for me was Tata so i got chatting to her. After talking on yahoo for a while and exchanging pictures with her i quickly fell for her, So after the traditional playing hard to get for a while my persistence paid off and now im lucky to have the most wonderful girl in the world. Feburary 5th was a milestone in my life and october 7th will be another one for sure. Im really looking forward to the future and i know its gonna be a good one. Stay tuned.
